Description |
The original contract for the plans, specifications and construction of the Tom Green County Courthouse was awarded to J. H. Walker. In reality the plans and specifications were the work of W. W. Larmour, of San Antonio. When Larmour learned that his plans were being used by Walker, he filed suit against the contractor. By that time, Walker had been fired by the county for failing to execute his contract. Larmour sued the new contractor, J. C. Lillis, and was awarded $2,005.00 (Dickey, pp. 125-6)Mansard roofs, crestings, chimneys, roof ventilators, and a central clock tower. |
