Driving Directions:From US 190 and FM 1746 junction at Woodville, go 6.7 miles east on FM 1746. Turn right at private road and go 2.6 miles south. At fork, turn left and go 0.1 mile east. At this point the road bends sharply to the south. There is a hunting camp on east side of bend. The cemetery is located at north edge of camp, approx. 247 ft. northeast of gate to campsite.This cemetery is highly endangered. It is a map feature, but it is located in a remote area on private property. The cemetery contains eight concrete headstones in a single row and is enclosed by a homemade fence. The fence consists of pipes, cables, steel bars, and plastic pipe. There is an ornamental gate at the west end of the cemetery. All headstones are upright and intact, except for one that is fallen and shattered. At least one headstone has been repaired. |
