Driving Directions:From US 69, go 1.4 miles west on CR 2975. At this point, the road bends sharply to the right and back to the left. There will be a row of mobile homes and houses along the north side of road. Turn right into private road at east end of houses. Follow this road northwest across a pasture, 0.3 mile to gate. Continue through woods for another 0.25 mile. Turn left at second fork on the left (west). Go another 0.2 mile northwest. Cemetery is at the end of the road.This cemetery is a map feature. It is fully fenced and maintained, and it has a historic marker. However, it is located in a remote area, and may not be accessible by automobile due to bad roads. Scottish house tombs or false crypts constructed of cut sandstone are unique features at this cemetery. There is one segregated, slave burial located at the northwest corner of the cemetery. |
