Directions:From US 287 in Latexo, go 0.8 mile east on FM 2663. Turn left at CR 1825 and go 0.8 miles north. Turn right at private road marked Howard Ave. Go 0.2 mile east-south on road. At this point, the cemetery is located approx. 106 ft. north (left) of road, near a very large, record-holding Holly tree.Although relatively new, this cemetery is highly endangered. There are only two graves, and they are located in a remote area on private property. There is no signage, and the low markers were obscured by the tall grass. Without a guide, the cemetery would be very difficult to find. The cemetery is not fenced and does not appear to be regularly maintained. The marker inscriptions read:R. S. "Cap" DodsonOct. 18, 1899July 1, 1981WWI Navy WWII Army Korea ArmyNote: there is also a bronze veteran's marker at the foot of the grave.
