Driving Directions:From FM 227/FM 1272 junction in Grapeland, go 7.0 miles west on FM 1272. Turn left onto CR 2235 (there is a historical marker at intersection) and go 1.7 miles south. The cemetery is located approx. 525 ft. south of sharp bend in road, behind house.The cemetery is highly endangered due to its location on private property, inaccessibility, small size, and lack of signage. It is not a map feature. The cemetery is fully enclosed by a low rock wall, and it appears to be regularly maintained. It is threatened by neglect and grazing cattle. |
