Driving Directions:From FM 227/FM 1272 junction in Grapeland, go 3.1 miles west on FM 1272. Turn left onto private road across from CR 2305, which leads to Parker Cemetery. Go approx. 0.3 mile south on private road, staying to the right. At this point the fenced cemetery will be visible in a pasture east of the private road.The endangerment level for this cemetery is medium. It is not a map feature, and it is located on private property. There is no signage on the public roads. In order to access the cemetery, one must go approx. 0.3 mile on private driveway and then cross a cow pasture. The cemetery is fully enclosed with a chain link fence and reinforced with an outer steel pipe fence to protect it from cattle. The cemetery is maintained and some damaged headstones have been repaired. |
