Driving Directions:From Loop 304 in Crockett, go 1.6 miles west on SH 7. Turn left onto CR 3020 (cemetery sign posted) and go 0.9 mile south-west. Turn left at gate, which has a cemetery sign, and go 0.3 mile south. The road dead ends at cemetery.The cemetery is moderately endangered. It is not a map feature, and it is located on private property. However, there are cemetery signs posted on SH 7 and on the entry gate to the cemetery. The cemetery is fully fenced, but there are gaps that allow livestock to enter. Many of the markers are fallen, leaning, or damaged due to grazing livestock, falling tree limbs, and subsiding earth. The cemetery is seasonally maintained. Cemetery features include ceramic photographs, homemade concrete markers, locally cast markers, metal funeral markers, folk gravestones, and floral decorations. Not all of the graves are oriented in the same direction. |
