Driving Directions:From Loop 304 in Crockett, go 1.6 miles southeast on US 287. Turn left at CR 4505 and go 1.5 miles north-east. Turn left at gated driveway and go 0.3 mile north. At this point, turn right and go approx. 0.25 mile east across pasture. Turn south after crossing low drainage and go approx. 0.1 mile south along western wood line. Cemetery is located at western edge of pasture in wooded grove on east bank of drainage.The cemetery is highly endangered. It is not a map feature, and it is located on private property. The cemetery is not directly accessible from a public road, and there are no cemetery signs posted. The cemetery is not fenced or maintained, and many of the headstones are missing, fallen, broken, or displaced. One burial plot is enclosed with a dilapidated, ornamental woven wire fence. The current land owner and a family member are interested in erecting a new cemetery fence and restoring the cemetery. |
