Driving Directions:Located on Temple-Inland’s North Boggy Slough Hunting Club. From SH 7/FM 227 intersection in Ratcliff, go approx. 8.3 miles east on SH 7, turn right at gate and go approx. 0.75 mile south. At first fork, go left for approx. 0.37 mile. At second fork, go right for approx. 0.25 mile. At this point, the cemetery will be visible to the right (north) of road. At third fork, go right for approx. 0.1 mile to entrance of cemetery.This cemetery is moderately endangered. It is a map feature and is located behind a locked gate on Temple-Inland's North Boggy Slough Hunting Club. The cemetery is fully fenced and maintained. There are no cemetery signs posted. Cemetery features include a pavilion, a old church/tabernacle (now used as hunting blind), and a variety of grave markers. Several markers are damaged, fallen, or leaning, and two fenced plots are in disrepair. |
