THC marker, 1836 State of Texas. Large fenced site with formal arched entryway and sign. Rolling landscape adjacent to road, small town residential, woodlands, across from Glenwood North. Ell-shaped site in current fencing, but existing gates of separate entrance and evidence of previous separating fenceline between road and ell, separating white and black sections of cemetery. Some fenced burials, curbing, obelisks, spires, some fieldstones, vaults (masonry and caste). Marker trees and shrubs of Cedar, Crape Myrtle, Oak, Laurel, Irises, Narcissus, Rose. No floral or decorative grave materials, no evidence of recent burials. US veterans, Masonic, CSA. Approx 2.30 acres.
