Constructed of steel, travertine and glass in the Modern style. A central glass and aluminum tower indicates the entry. A horizontal wing is faced with vertical windows and spandrels atop a horizontal travertine base. |

1962 - Clock tower and upper floor removed, wings added to north and south sides. Dramatically altered by Architects Rittenberry & Rittenberry with Timmons Construction Co. as the contractor. State financed marker rejected. |
