Description The original Reinaissance Revival style courthouse was modified in 1923 with the removal of the gabled roof and pedimented bays and soaring central tower. The dentiled cornice was replaced by a Mission style parapet and the original limestone facade covered with stucco.
Modifications Extensively remodeled in 1923 in the "Prairie Style" when clock tower was removed, cornice eliminated, brick details changed, and plaster coated. Copper dome replaced original tower. CH Page & Brothers. 1953: Addition constructed 1989: Substantial reno
